bens 0 Posted July 4, 2004 Jim, this is a gorgeous photo in miniature, the tones, expression, cropping make it stand out dramatically, in a way that makes me feel hopeful, so its very powerful. the oversharpening deters. i'd suggest a finer sharpening (i use lab color - lightness channel --settings around 500/0.5/0 then used fade to adjust on something like this, forgive me if you know all this). sam_wilson4 0 Posted January 29, 2011 You have obviously messed up in either developing or post processing to tell you the truth... I would take a look on the internet for other black and white photos to use as an example. You will get it eventually, but it takes time.
