some old friends The Eyes of a Killer?

So far this spring, Layla, our "sweet looking" long haired Dachshund

has killed 2 bunnies, 3 baby birds and a field mouse. So I ask

you, "are these the eyes of a killer?" Hopefully, she won't come

home with what she was bred to hunt. Dachshund means "badger

hound". I don't want to have to bury one of those!!!!!

These look like happy eyes but I know better

She looks so gentle, it's hard to believe she is a born killer! Our dogs keep killing baby armadillos, yet look so innocent when we get mad at them. They are lab/retriever cross and I guess the instinct to "hunt" is just too strong with them.
