I really like the colors and texture of this seascape, Steven. It's almost like a painting in appearance. VERY well done!

Ooh, ooh, ooh. Laa, laa, laa. This is one of your best yet, Steve. Was your slide really that saturated? The orange near the sun seems a bit hot. Needless to say, this is an incredible capture. This is the kind of stuff that sells. Nice work!!

Very nice composition. Luminosity in the sky and water is very well balanced. Superb color saturation and details in the water.

It seems that some of the details in the sky are being lost due to Red Channel saturation.

Jen, Yes I think I agree, this is easy enough and decreased the yellow/orange around the sun somewhat. Thanks

Jay- I looked at the histogram and see what you mean. I boosted contrast and saturation somewhat on the jpeg before uploading this and the red channel looks much better on the TIF, I did just reduce the red slightly along the right cloud with this one giving a more even saturation across the sky.

Thanks guys!

It's a great one! I even like the people to the right of the sun beam...it gives perspective and insignificance as they drift away in the fabulous depth you've created. 10 on the wow factor.

I know I am going against the tide, if you will forgive the pun, but the colors IMHO are bordering on the other side of garish. Your composition is fine. I would tone down the colors.

Thanks guys, I started working on this last night trying to figure what happened with the upload. I started deleting layers until the mid-sky wasnt so blown out and I only increased the saturation 5 pts on the previous version, so know it wasnt that. It turned out I increased contrast too much and clipped the highlights in the center of the sky. This is re-uploaded and the problem should be fixed, it also falls within the gamut warning range for printing 100%, which I will try in a few days. Thanks for your comments, without these would have taken much longer to realize the problem and any further comments to the present state of the image is greatly appreciated. Thanks

The latest version is just perfect. Beautiful details in the sky as well as in water. Well done.

Very well done. The tranquility makes me want to be there, which is the point, isn't it?
