Fading away II

One of my favorit subjects to shoot. New York appartment buildings

and the fire escapes. Black and white is the way to shoot in my eyes,

it captures the simplicity and drearyness of some of the lowdown

areas giving it a certain atmosphere that is so recoqnizable but

never boring (in mho)

I like the pseudo-symmetry of this picture...

Here You stuck too much in an ordinary registration. There are for me no personal elements in this photo reflecting your vision toward the object

Personal views do matter, but I liked it and I do still like it. This photo was chosen together with another one of the shadows series for a small exibit in The Hague. so it is very personal as always with art (as photograph is art right?) it is in the eye of the beholder and rules and conventions don't always count. but thanks for your comments, I do appreciate it and learn from them too.
