i love this picture. very dramatic weather captured in wonderful detail over a beautiful landscape and interesting old house.

Did you play around with shadow detail in photoshop to get those clouds, or did you use a filter of some sort.?

I both used polar. and a little bit of PS.

I love that you can see a horizontal line across the house below which is more pronounced weathering, surely from when the river once rose too high. I can almost envision the panic that must have caused someone way back when. Such history in that building. Wonderful.

I love your color and use of natural lighting. I wish you had taken the building at an angle so the shadow on the smaller side would not be so obvious. From an angle, the larger part of the building would have hidden the shadow. I absolutely love the cloudy sky you were lucky to have for your photo.
