First in my series of photos taken on my trip to Kodiakanal. The lake

in the photo is very still and the reflections in the water is a

treat to watch. Cheers!

The hint of grasses at the bottom of the image begs for more information. :) I think I would have liked the composistion more if you had aimed down and included more foreground elements and less sky.

Of course, it could be that whatever is below the camera is something horrible and you're protecting your viewers from seeing it! :)

Thanks for the comment Rob, well i had the same thing in mind, but then the things nearby were not very interesting, and this is more of a 50/50 reflection, hence the split right in the centre. cheers!

A good scenery though!

Amazing picture! To catch the lake so still is great. But the reflection in the lake could have been much better. And yeah, there's too much sky! But overall, beautiful take!

loved the colors! also composition is very good. that grass on the bottom right need to be cropped.

a more dramatic sky would have helped to make the pic look even more better....but its never there when we have camera with us :)

Good composition, nice colors. This location is good for another shot, I would wait for a cloudy day - probably great reflections then. Regards, Carsten

The reflection of blue sky, the color - superb. Is it taken by your Cannon digital? I am jealous. ;-))

I'm going to be totally honest because I think that's how we should all be in our comments.

I think this one is overrated. For me the composition lacks a clearly defined subject. My eyes are wandering from the tiny bits of grass in the bottom, the tree on the right, to the structure (that we can't see well) on the left bank. All in all, lots of nice blue but not much else to hold my interest.

I'll take the time to look over the rest of your portfolio now.

Feel free to give my photos the same honest treatment as I have given you.

I think that Dominique failed to appreciate the quiet peace shown in this picture. I'm not sure about what was actually there, but it reminds me of my own rare experiences in areas where there is little or no human activity and a lot of natural beauty and peace. So although this image does not grab you with a hook, I think that it does convey a sense of peace and quite. I enjoy it.

I had to look for a second time to recognize this as Kodai. Very beautifully done once again, Pradeep. My best wishes.

Dominique, yes i agree with you, its over rated, but i guess thats the vagaries of life, some of them which u expect to do well, dont ;) so we just need to take it with a pinch of salt i guess. thanks for your frank comments, appreciate it. cheers!
