Yes, a strange bird...and ok, I'll say it, an ugly one too! :)

What an interesting character! How come you couldn't get him to look at the camera!? :-)

I kept yelling,"Hey you strange looking bird, look at the camera and smile!" He just kept looking the other way. Just as I was leaving he spoke to me. He said, "Idiot, birds don't speak english. Next time you want a bird to pose for for talk in strange bird language." "Imagine that," I thought to myself. "A bird that speaks two languages."

Was it captive? I believe this is an African species called the Secretary Bird (Saggitarius Serpentarius)
