erikadams 0 Posted May 18, 2004 The sky is great and the exposure excellent. I just don't know how I feel about the foreground. The rock in the center breaks it up too much for me. Did you take some shots with the rock off-center? Link to comment
john_toeneboehn 0 Posted May 18, 2004 Dave, I like the rock up front. It anchors the distant scene with the rock pointing to the mountains. It's just a mini mountain waiting to happen. My only question is: Where's the wind? I've been in this area many times, and I know that the winds in Anchorage are fearce. But this day looks pretty calm to me. The blue sky beyond the white clouds gives the view a depth dimension. Link to comment
josh1 0 Posted May 19, 2004 pretty agressive sharpening....the mountains in the background are so sharp it makes them look like they are in the same plane of focus as the rock up front....almost like they are hovering over it. i think the picture would take on more three dimensionality if they were not sharpened as strongly. davidroossien 0 Posted September 17, 2005 This one also stands out. A simple, rugged statement. I do wish the clouds were not cut off on top. Link to comment
