Dandelion

Shot on a sunny day using my camera bag to shield the background

from getting any excess light. I had to wait a while for the breeze

to die down. Please let me know what you think, I prefer comments

greatly to ratings.

Wasn't quite sure if this was a dandilion or a science center, nice closeup.

I am not really sure why, I dont like this image that much. Maybe the fact that the background is too dark, hence the DOF doesnt give a 3D perspective? Sorry.

Manoj, I know what you mean, unfortunately it was a bad time of day in that respect with the very contrasty lighting. If I could have found one with some green life close behind it and shade just that I surely would have because I agree it would "pop" more with a better background.

 

While I would have preferred that, this has a different look to me with the black background and I like it as is, although it is certainly different from what I originally would have liked.
