vickilynn 0 Posted May 13, 2004 This is really nice. I like the way the plane looks to be flying right of the image. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 14, 2004 Nice digital montage but hardly a photograph. Just curious, did you also take the photo of the plane? I doubt it, so maybe you should look up US copyright laws on infringement. Link to comment
maxhaynes 0 Posted May 14, 2004 That would be Portnoy's complaint? He's right though, whoever drew the plane picture might object. Myself I'd say the scale isn't quite right, the plane would have to be a two seater to fit in that spot, it's possible that putting the wing out of the image throws off the scale issue as well. Great try though. Link to comment
andreas fischer 0 Posted May 15, 2004 @Haissam, thanks @Adam, ;-) ...isnt a moose an amphibian plane too? this one is a dornier 24 @Vasiliy, thanks @Kevin, thanks @Paul, thanks @Umair, thanks @Rob thanks...same discussion i had in a german community...id say it is photography or lets say photography is a part of the way to the picture...i nearly never leave photos as i took them...and give them the atmosphere i want them to have to create my pictures out of photos about the plane...no problem with copyright...a friend of mine took the plane shot when this plane was here in germany for a festival... this day there was such a sad gray sky that i thought this plane need a nice sky to fly in...and i got his original photo and his ok to use it...i never would use pictures or parts of them without the ok of the photographer...normaly i only use my own stuff ...but this plane was so nice ...i had to ask him...and we are both very happy about "our picture" @Max,dont worry i have the right to use the plane...see above...who is Portnoys?...anyway...the wing had to come out for 2 reasons 1/ the light on the plane and the landscape is too different...it would disturb the viewer if the plane would be completely in the picture...something would be worng... with this little trick i made the viewers eye , forgive this little mistake ;-) 2/ it creates a new layer @Tony, thanks @ all thanks for all those many good ratings... never had so many before Link to comment
josh1 0 Posted May 16, 2004 i don't think it really works. the plane looks so out of place. i know you aren't trying for the whole "realistic" thing...but still. you've got three different light sources for one picture. it just confuses my brain. maybe i'm too simple minded. the background sky is also obsiously cut and pasted cause the land looks to be lit from a different light source. alecee 0 Posted May 16, 2004 I like it. And Andreas is honest about the manipulation. Very good work - my only nit-picking is the plane looks like a painting. Otherwise awesome work. 7/6 Link to comment
marianna_safronova 0 Posted May 16, 2004 Very original ... thank you for the smile. The plane certainly add to already good photo. Link to comment
