alecee 0 Posted May 10, 2004 Outing during Mother's Day. Just wanted to share this outdoor portrait as it's so difficult to get them to be interested. Love the light on this. Handheld, polariser ISO 100, F4, 1/125 Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 10, 2004 Very nice lighting and wonderful pose. Very natural looking. The hair is a tad distracting on the girl on the left but not bad. PS. Just got my D70 in todqy. It's a really cool camera. can't wait to get to know it. Link to comment
ZuikoD 0 Posted May 11, 2004 Hi Alec: Your daughters seem to have no bad angles. The light striking them paint their skin very nicely. Notice that the older one has a G cleff pendant. What instrument does she plays.? I am wondering if you have any pictures of them angry lol...they are almost always smiling...Peace and health to all of you. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted May 11, 2004 Thanks Ivar, Amar, Mike for your kind comments. Joe, I feel the few strains of hair on Kathleen's face helps to make this image natural. I'm sure you'll like the D70 and will look forward to your postings. David, you have a sharp eye, both of them can sing. Kathleen the elder has a very good voice - likes cool jazz and can sing, play the piano and guitar like Mandy Moore, Jewel, and Vanessa Carlton. I can send you clips if you like. She has appeared on national TV talent show and looks forward to participating in Singapore Idol TV show based on the American version. Cheers, alecee@photo,net Link to comment

c brake 0 Posted May 11, 2004 Wonderful image, Alec, can't really say anything that hasn't been said. Gorgeous subjects, great lighting, striking poses and smiles. You have beautiful girls. Link to comment
Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted May 12, 2004 Alec why do you need to get them interested to pose? I am sure you can take great shots of them without asking them to pose or hold still (though that might get them pissed of at times!) Some times my friends say "why didnt you ask my permission to take my picture?", and I tell them if I had asked for it, it wouldnt be a picture. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted May 12, 2004 Sorry Bilal. By posing I mean taking their pictures. You know how teenagers are. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 13, 2004 I feel that this is not candid but works as a double portrait. It's easy to look at so it works for me. The backdrop compliments the radiance of your models. Link to comment
