John Crowe 165 Posted May 8, 2004 Very nice and inviting. I would love to have seen a lower angle to cut out the roof top, and parallel to the pool edge and row of lounge chairs to give a more two dimensional appearance. Unfortunately this would likely remove the greenery down the hill and even possibly the water but it would leave the pool, the chairs, and the wonderful sky. Wish I was there now! Link to comment
marionovak 0 Posted May 9, 2004 Hi John,,.. again we have difference in opinion. This is asigment shot for developer of this property. I need to show "Lay of the land" i.e. in combination with plans, to show how project looks in reality,.. But, yes, I get your point. It may create totaly different point of view if I went down with the camera and excluded everything else,.. I have another shot, I will post it tomorrow, you may like it,. Link to comment
mario_vodopivec 0 Posted May 9, 2004 Fabulous photo, I wouldn't change anything. What film did you use? Link to comment
marionovak 0 Posted May 9, 2004 Hi Mario ( ili bok Mario) I used Fuji Velvia 50 ASA that I pushed +1 stop, ( exposed at ISO 100)Lens was 55/2.8 ( equivalent to 35 mm lens on 35 mm camera) Just to emphasise, this is advertising shot, for a client. Not spur of the moment shot. I needed to show the place, the mood, the architecture,.. Link to comment
John Crowe 165 Posted May 10, 2004 I totally understand client requirements! They are not necessarily interested in "artistic" representations and this certainly is a nice shot. Look forward to seeing similar if you have more. Take care. Link to comment
