The dirt of three decades cleaned off by PictureMan 5.0 Pro. All the transparencies in the roll had developed a slight magenta cast, but as the cast was "pure" magenta, it was easy to remove.

It looks for all the world that the sky has been faked (which would

be easy) but it is reflected in the ripples in the canal, which would

be much more difficult to fake.

Cropping some sky and a some black water may make the picture more interstingi(ie some top and and some bottom)

Hi Marco,

 

It was very dark. However, the print that I made from the transparency has very rich shadow detail, which might get lost on a computer image. You can see the shadow detail if you increase the gamma of your display by around 50%.
