Len, did you take any pictures closer up of this? I don't really see the water droplets. I mean, it's obvious that it was an overcast and/or rainy day ... but I just don't see the droplets, even viewed large. It's a pretty tree, though!

Lou Ann, Guess I took too long to set up for this one & they all dried up:) Actually they are there but due to scanning from a 5x5 proof on an entry level flatbed, they are hardly visible. Guess I should have moved in closer. If I only had a MF scanner............... :( Best, LM.

Bill, Yes, the 'S' curve of the trunk and those elusive droplets caught my eye. Also, I think that this was the last day the temperature was above freezing for the next 2 or 3 months of 2004. Best, LM.

The white pine is my favourite tree. Nice capture. I can see the droplets on the needle tips.I like the way that it is separated from the background by the mist/haze.

Beautiful crisp colors Len. I can almost smell the pine trees. Very nice coloration and composition.

Ratings, by themselves, aren't very informative. Let's hear what

your thoughts about this shot are in the form of a critique or

comment. Best, LM.

I like the colors and simplicity of this image. The foggy background is a great accent as well. While I don't see anything that makes me really excited by this shot, I do feel as though I can identify with it, and enjoyed it in that respect.
