guillelobera 0 Posted April 30, 2004 by Frank Lloyd Wright (1959) is a work of art itself. The interior of the building features a spiral ramp that is reminiscent of 1930's science fiction. Artwork is displayed on the walls and is viewed as visitors ascend the ramp. Link to comment
maria_di_liegro 0 Posted May 2, 2004 I took a day trip into NYC today and rode by that on my way into the city. Very distinct and unmistakable building. I've never been inside this particular museum, but I have been in others there. I admire Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture. This photo is very nice, but I think you'd have to know a bit about this structure and its content to appreciate your photo. Nice! Link to comment
bret_adams1 3 Posted May 2, 2004 I like the architecture of the museum too. But I thought it was a bummer that they would not let me take a picture from the top looking down. Above the first floor there's strictly no cameras. I understand no photos of the artwork, but not even the the 'atrium.' I think there could be some good shots from up there too. The people there were stiffs too i thought. Not too friendly. But hey, they're new-yorkers! ;-) (no offense to other new-yorkers!) Link to comment
guillelobera 0 Posted May 3, 2004 You can see, in my photo, the museum that day and that hour. I do not have more to add. Bret thanks. Link to comment
