This shot is an example of a new technique I've been practicing

with. Any comments?

Nice shot. I would smooth (blur) a little less around the lower cheek/neck interface, as you lose the 3 dimensionality. The upper part of the cheek is much improved. You can have each portion on a separate layer (select with a feathered lasso).

I'll have to try the feathered lasso next time, I thought something looked a little different there :)

I like this image...a lot. I might try this. Just a differrent idea. Not better or worse.
