robertbrown 1 Posted April 29, 2004 Comments, ratings on pansy shot--thanks. This is for a project for my wife. Constructive criticism appreciated Link to comment
k2photo 0 Posted April 29, 2004 I assume you used DOF to blur the foreground as no manipulation is indicated. In which case, this is a fantastic composition for it's vibrant colors and simplicity. The crop really brings your eye to the middle of the flower, and not seeing the whole flower makes it more interesting than the standard full-on shot in my opinion. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted April 29, 2004 Yes this was all in camera, an attempt in what's called "shooting through." Some levels and sharpening in PS. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 30, 2004 I am thinking your wife will probably love it. constructively- I'd like to see the blurred or shot thru object a tad more lower and the center of the flower just a hair to the left and down but that is beyond picky and from a person who has all her clothes on hangers in order of color and sleeve length and collars facing the same direction. all in all a very nice shot and pretty colors. robertbrown 1 Posted April 30, 2004 Thanks for your comment, Knicki. I'm getting very tired of shooting flowers. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 1, 2004 what are you making her that requires so many flowers? overall I like the daisies (memory recalls daisies, hope I am right) for the tones and light you used. Link to comment
