john_kroy 0 Posted April 28, 2004 Not enough "horse" and the composition about the centre horizontal line seems unbalanced, but you dont have enough of the rest to correct it. If this is a crop from a larger photo, you are in with a chance to fix that. Otherewise, you did well to get the expression. Link to comment
pressuredbyphotons 5 Posted April 29, 2004 I think you could crop out a bit of the sky, the brightness is a bit of a distraction. I daresay this is one of your best horsey shots. From a compositional point of view, the eyes are almost both on the golden thirds and the snout of the one on the right points directly at the eyes on the one on the left. Funny about the previous comments on there not being enough horse. I think showing their bodies would not add anything to this shot, it would only serve to reduce the size of their heads which is the main attraction in this image. Link to comment
toni martin 0 Posted May 1, 2004 Just take a little of the top off. I think it is a great capture. It is amazing how the horses watch the photographer. Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted May 2, 2004 I think this is a terrific shot (as usual). I wouldn't change a thing. I have just started photographing more animals. And each and everyone of your horse shots, has been an inspiration. Link to comment
Wayne Melia 6,037 Posted April 2, 2005 Great moment, but..it's not really sharpagree that a little off the top would be good, but I'm not really sure Link to comment
