tomfawlsphotography 0 Posted April 27, 2004 Great detail in this shot. Could use just a bit more contrast to make the letters "LeC..." and "...& Cie" stand out better. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted April 27, 2004 Thanks Tom. Was wondering if the 6 should have been cleaned up. The clock is circa 1962 so I chose to leave the aged appearance Link to comment
nikonuserf100 0 Posted April 28, 2004 A unique photo. There is something clean and precise about it, and obviously mechanical. On the other hand ... I would have cleaned up the '6'. Different tastes I guess. Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted April 29, 2004 I like it how it is Ken. Life is full of defects... a little imprefection is what life is all about. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted May 2, 2004 Very nice work, Ken. There's something about this that I really like, and I really can't even identify it. Link to comment
lukep 0 Posted May 7, 2004 Very sharp and clean image. The only fault I can find is that the 6 is not quite central - but hell, I am far from a aperfectionist with my own photography! Its appeal for me is limited by the subject. Link to comment
don_harper_the_edge 0 Posted May 9, 2004 This is a nice macro shot and would appeal to the gearheads. I find no flaws with this, reality isn't perfect. We don't need to retouch everything in photoshop. You have some really bold photos in your portfolio. Thanks for sharing and consider these comments helpful or rubbish as you see fit. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted July 15, 2005 Hi Ken. Long time I didn't drop by... Just a note to say that this sort of thing has been done before of course, but that I like the perfect composition and geometry + clarity of this version here. I hope all is well with you. Regards. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted July 15, 2005 Thanks. All is well. This was some practice work with a macro Link to comment
