well, since I have been busy and not have time to go outside and

shoot, thought I'd take some pics of me and work on getting the right

focusing, something that i was struggling with when shooting self

portrait! looks like i did it this time =0). any comments

appreciated. thank you.

the coloration is very nice,...adds a vintage flair to the image,...the hair makes the capture unique and kind of wild !!!

Hi Rita, I like the idea, maybe its about personal taste but the lighting looks flat and unnatural to me, perhaps you are using on camera flash or a light source very close to the camera which is not appropriate for this kind of shot I think.

thank you all for the comments, as usual your time is much appreciated. as for the light, well, this is not how the original picture was, i added glow and enhanced contrast in photoshop to achieve such result, i know i should have mentioned it, so i apologise for not having done so.

I wonder if the background should be warmer? Composition and lighting seems to work.

Very Good and unusaul portrait. I like the crop and style. Lighting on the chest little bothers me. Looks unnatural. "I am using Tft monitor maybe its my fault :)"
