What ISO1600 can do

wakeforce

Had to take this shot right now, because someone was passing and I wanted to get him in the frame. Had to boost to iso1600 to be able to get the shot handheld. Too bad we don,t see the person very well, but anyway, I still think the shot is good. It's a bit too centered for my tastes, but I like it nonetheless.

This was shot at ISO 1600 for the follwoing reasons: I saw someone

walking on the other side, and since the park was going to close soon,

I was almost 100% sure no one would pass again. and 2, the light was

changing too fast (you can look at the picture of the bridge that I

took just after setting up the tripod, and you'll see that the mood is

simply NOT the same)

I'm pretty impressed with what capture one's noise reduction +

neatimage can do. A combination of both of them seems to work great,

but I lost a tiny bit of sharpness on the top branches. It's pretty

much unnoticable except there. I think it's a bit too centered for my

tastes, but hey, this was shot on the moment!
