alecee 0 Posted April 23, 2004 I am always amazed at the colors of these apartments when I am drving pass it in the early morning. The sun and sky was just right today so I thought of sharing it with you. Did I do justice to it? Link to comment
root 0 Posted April 24, 2004 Hmm . . . looks familiar :-) Can't beat the red, though. Try cropping out the sky and that small central element. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted April 24, 2004 Hi Carl, the small central element are bamboo poles with laundry hung out to dry. A common sight in Asia. I included it and the sky to provide dimension to the image. BTW, did you notice the circular holes in the red metal supports - it cast really interesting shadows. Link to comment
root 0 Posted April 24, 2004 No I didn't. . . and that's the point. To emphasize the laundry, crop the image to put it closer to the upper left corner and crop about a third off the bottom. To emphasize the shadow holes in the lower left, crop at least a third off the top and right. I shot about 40 frames on my building and ended up with about a dozen distinctively different keepers. Don't try to show everything in one image. Oh yes, . . . and don't forget your circular polarizer. . . . . . Link to comment
