What was the logic behind the very tight crop?

 

I think it works and puts the emphasis on her eyes and on the jewels but I wonder if you cropped it with a mind to putting it on the web as opposed to printing it.

 

If you printed it at 8 x10 or larger without the tight crop, I don't think the focus would be taken off her eyes and the jewels.

nice headgear but rather strange expression ... must agree the crop seems tight but think it could look very unique with a bit of digi-manipulation with the colouring. thats if your not a photo purist!

Beautiful capture and caption.Your lighting and use of B&W is great and you have really pretty model.Watching this shot for a persian by like me was really fantastic and interesting.But I think that it was more beautiful if you have used dual tunning in here.I mean that it was in B&W and jevelery of the prience was color.I hope that you like my idea.All the best.Afshin
