I agree that the elongated rectangle is nice, but I don't think a lot of empty sky in a 3:2 35mm shot would have hurt it either, because wide open space is so important to this scene.

I would've liked this shot even without the person, but including him is a nice touch.

PN processing has not been nice to the large JPEG -- it's extremely pixelated.

What about cutting the man at the end and having just camels, with more space in front than on the back? I find it a bit off-equilibrium like this.

Chasing camels! An extremely unrewarding job :)

I think the man is essential to the picture, otherwise it would be a completely different shot and - in my opinion, please forgive me - would lack something that makes it stand out, as my stubborn mind would automatically conjure up images of strings of camels along a spectacular barchan dune in the sunset to compare this one with.

But with the man I instantly ask myself what the story behind this might be? I feel pity for him, as he has to walk instead of riding his(?) camels. Has the herd run of? Is it just concidence? Is it a persistent photographer trying to get close enough for camel portraits? Well you see, I think the man makes the picture...

Many poeple upload biiiiig photos without a reason, and it's so heavy to look because you must scrolling left-right, up-down. When I rating photos, I simply skip any photo with unusualy size. With this photo, it's been wrong decision. Your photo is an excellent sample for good using panoramic format the picture.

And. of course, this photo without the man would be just average photo of couple camels. With the man it's great!
