hassan 0 Posted April 18, 2004 I kinda like the blurring effect in the background. It is rather facinating and adds to the overall dynamics of this image. Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted April 19, 2004 You cant get more color or contrast OR clarity with ex-perimental digits, YET, Koos.. Unless.. the lighting is spectacular, and part of the comp. Digits dont YET do nature shots justice. See Photo4u.dk for fuji and great zeiss glass, 1000 plus photos, and jaymaisel.com for digits with spectacular lighting, also 1000 plus shots. Great educational sites..for composition and lighting..In this photo, I think the left flower and its bokeh background dont really harmonise with the rest of the composition, and should be simply cropped out..The shot has good perspective, interesting lighting, excellent exposure, and quite a suitable background that could be a little more OOF.. koosnet 0 Posted April 20, 2004 Nice pic. A bit more contrast and some more color, makes it better I think. Link to comment
tamaral 0 Posted April 20, 2004 Tulips are my favorite flowers of all but I prefer the yellow ones. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted April 23, 2004 Tamara, I have some yellow tulips, but they don't photograph well. Koos Net--thanks for your edit: it's an improvement. Thomas, I agree about digital. I shoot a lot of film, too (mostly on my Hasselblad) but I seem to be collecting it, not printing or scanning it. Link to comment
