sterioma 0 Posted April 16, 2004 The grain of the 800 film is a bit visible in the sky. Otherwise, I like the composition and the exposure. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted April 16, 2004 Lou Ann, you have taken a rather ordinary looking range and created a nearly perfect picture of it. This is very well done, even if some persons do not see the genius in it. If this had been shot with ISO 100 (or lower) film, I would like to see it blown up to the size of my wall. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted April 16, 2004 I really like the bare rock bit but I reckon the foreground green bit could be brightened up a touch. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted April 16, 2004 Lou Ann, I love the simplicity of this composition. Very peaceful and beautiful.... Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted April 17, 2004 Another pleasing composition. Your mountains seem to be a strong point in your photography, Lou Ann. Link to comment
WJT 619 Posted April 19, 2004 for saying this, but Lou Ann, I think you have better photographs. Perhaps if the clouds were absent one could view this an abstract on nature: three bold horizontal bands of firmanent, earth, and life. But to effectively document your Road Trip, you need to make the Rainbow Mountain a uniquely memorable event for the viewer. Or do I misunderstand your direction? Regards. Link to comment
charodiez 0 Posted April 19, 2004 Lou Ann, may I say that I fully agree with the previous comment? It would be more effect without the clouths, it would be like a nature pattern then. Link to comment
