herbert fernandes 0 Posted April 16, 2004 Good meaning in this pic ( Very Well captured as far as getting meaning into this pic) . The exposure seems a bit dark though.. Good image Link to comment
thomas_moraitis 0 Posted April 16, 2004 Well captured. The face of the beggar is (or looks) underexposed because of the backlit scene. Link to comment
jorge 0 Posted April 18, 2004 Herbert, Thomas, Actually, the negative has a full tonal range on the face. I took my incident reading off the dark interior of the curch. However, I felt the scene demanded a more somber mood --vs. a well lit face and bright outside-- thus, at tscan time I pulled the curves down so the face of the beggar is thrown into the darkness behind the viewer. thomas_moraitis 0 Posted April 18, 2004 Tá bem, Jorge, if thats how you wanted it, but I think that the beggar's expression (or the lack of it) deserves more emphasis. Very well done, in any case. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
mauricio alcaraz carbia 0 Posted April 23, 2004 Hola Jorge! Me gustan muchísimo las tonalidades y el juego de luz. My kind of favorite photo...as you know. Pero viéndola con mucha atención, se me ocurrió ésto. Espero que no te importe. Saludos! Link to comment
