Poppy Field at Wildflower Seed Farm

Poppy field in the Wildflower Seed Center near Fredericksburg,

Texas. Please give me honest feedback so I can improve on my

landscape shooting. Thanks!

This is nice, but I find myself wanting more. The red field is inviting but seems too far away. I love the pach work lazy clouds. It is the lower 1/6th of the picture that bothers me. It might be improved if you either cropped up a bit to leave out that green stripe across the bottom and tighten up the red a bit or reframe the shot getting closer to the red flowers to give the story a better beginning. Instead of a landscap shot, how about trying a portrait with a close up of a flower side lit on the bottom 1/3ish with that huge sky above?
