ducksquat 1 Posted April 14, 2004 In the spring in much of central Texas, bluebonnet flowers are well known and dominate the landscape. However, I find it refreshing to find that odd flower that sticks out amongst the rest. Critiques and suggestions welcomed! Link to comment
caneridge 0 Posted April 14, 2004 Nice yellow. I love that red/blue blur. Composition wise, I don't like that stem that leads off to nowhere. I -know- that flower has a sibling somewhere. How about cropping over from the right side more to take out that road to nowhere and show the flower leaning into the left side of the picture? It makes the upper R corner a bit tight though. Could you have positioned the red/blue more to the left? This would have created a color diag. from the lower left to the upper right rather than vertical color. Another possibility is to get the red section behind the flower. Then you'd have blue-red-yellow and it may look like the flower was more a-glow. Link to comment
