I am left with unanswered questions, but that's a good thing with this image. It suggests mystery, change, puzzlement. A quintessentially modern concept. On the Originality scale, I would max it at 7. I would like to see more of this sort from you.

Interesting. I like the sepia tone that gives warmth to light and long shadows. Try moving the girls and the sofa to the right more and see if this helps. You made this almost a square, try looking at it as a retangle. Reduce the amount of space at the top of your picture. I feel you should have done all three images of the littel girl how is sitting and jumping. The girl in the black dress blows the continuity you started with. Overall I like the idea.

A very interesting and creative photo. Disturbing and emotionally evocative. The girl in the dark dress looks stiff and the shadows (feathering?) around her head give her a cut-and-paste look.

i love the surrealty of it ..must admit, the feathering of the hair does lend a slight feeling of cut and paste but i still love it!

What is funny is the only change to the orginal is the girl sitting...the girl in black was really there! Thanks for all the feedback.

It doesn't quite fit in, but maybe it's not supposed to and that is what the author wanted ... it's brilliant anyway.

Interesting picture. Possibly a bit contrived (some might think you're trying a bit too hard to come up with something a bit different) but I like it. Not sure what its all about but I find that appealing. The girl sitting facing the camera is sort of spooky looking and I keep wondering how the sofa got there. Not sure if thats useful feedback but there you go.

Whats so funny about the last comment ....I was shooting these children out in a field and someone had dumpped a sofa ou there as a treat for being well behaved I let them run around and play ....They were only playing . "Different" comes naturaly to me , children are easy you just have to watch them !

Lovely image, but a couple of things detract for me. The jumper, from her bum, is that something in the back ground? It looks strange for her leg and doesn't seem to have a shoe/trainer but also seems attached. Is it my work PC screen or is has the girl in black got a slight halo looping between the top of each arm?

I'm glad there was a link on Misty's Anomlie (sp?) shot.

This is great. I love how the both of you came up with different shots and feelings.

The first time I saw I thought it was digitally altered especially so after looking at the haziness around the girls' images, but the shadows are definitely there, and then I realised what an awesome shot it was. I am in trance now.... Matrix reloaded!!!

I have read all the other comments, and I like it the way it is. The trees at the extreme right provide some framing, and you can't move the sofa to the right, because the girl in the dark dress will be too close to those trees. The fact that the girl in the dark dress is in her "nice" clothes suggests a degree of spontaneity to their play. The title is perfect. Kids often act out the feats they have seen performed.

If I had any suggestion, it would have been to back up a step to allow a little foreground in front of the seated girl. But the amount of sky is perfect, because of its texture. Interesting - no sepia in the sky.
