Female student at the university cafeteria

Despite some obvious flaws I love this image. The sharpness of the

subject, the blur of the out-of-focus areas and the hard constrasts

all add to the overall composition and somewhat melancholic feeling

this picture has in it. Or am I just trying to feel close to the girl

when all I have is a pretty poor photo? What do you think?

I like this too. There certainly is mood in the photo. I also like the high contrast and the loss of detail in her face. It also helps wash away some of the unimportant details in the rest of the photo.
