bentes_world 0 Posted April 12, 2004 Romantic, poetic and Monet. I would like to visit this place but being different from the others I don't want my back yard to look this way - much - too much work (-; Link to comment

1000wordsphotography 0 Posted April 13, 2004 Thanks for such positive feedback. I love this place. Duke Gardens is part of the university campus. Only wish it WERE my back yard. Taken early in the morning so I could be there before everyone else. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted April 13, 2004 This is absolutely stunning. Love the ducks, and the redbuds, they add just the right touch. Wishing I was there. Link to comment

dan_woodlief1 0 Posted April 13, 2004 I have photographed Duke Gardens often in the past, and I have to say this is about the best photo I have ever seen anywhere of these gardens. You are right about early morning - definitely the time to be there for nature shots. Link to comment

cappoldt 0 Posted April 14, 2004 It's a lovely shot, and having walked in those gardens often, I'm sad I've missed it! I will note, however, that the saturation is up a bit too high - unless that tree to the left of the bridge really is purple? I'd have done the final differently only by masking certain areas when tweaking the pic in PS or other imaging software- keep it from looking "too" digital . . . Link to comment
