Iggy Pop at All Tomorrow's Parties in Long Beach, CA 2003.

With only two songs in the pit to shoot (that is, with only a

quarter of the pit open and every single photographer desperate to

get a shot of the headliner!), I went nuts trying to make sure I got

something good. This was my favorite of the bunch.

 

I'm new to photo.net, so this is my introductory post/request for

critique. Also, since my recent purchase of my Canon E0S 10D I only

use my PowerShot G3 as a back-up these days (although I still think

of it fondly).

he still is the man (and he looks strangely like kurt cobain here)! i like this one, if only because i know how difficult it is to get a good concert shot without a flash. but it's powerful, even though you don't see his washboard stomach, which i guess would have been impossible to shoot.

I did get a bunch of great shots of Iggy's washboard stomach - since I'm still figuring out photo.net, I think I can post more photos without having them critiqued? If so, I'll add a few more from the concert.

Iggy rocks, nice colors

Great photo. The flare gives a kind of magical quality to the shot, where this angle makes him supernaturally large, like a demigod. Nice colours too.

I really love this photo. I love Iggy too. Was on concert in year 1994 but did not take any photos, just enjoy the show. Here's Iggy just like it is. Colours add to composition a psychodelic dimension. Excellent light work.

 

I love to see more photos of him.
