Window to other world

This is first photo of the Bryce Canyon National park

under snow series ... more will follow. It was snowing for a week

just before I came with 40 inches accumulation in a week!

It was still snowing heavily the day I came but the next day the sky

cleared and I have got my one perfect hike (in snowshoes)

in magic land. Comments are welcome.

Great Contrast and color tones...Awsome...Nice frame also....slight confusing at the first glance... the high mountain or the framed background mountains?

The photo is taken from the trail going from the

canyon rim to

the bottom of the canyon (still quite high

in the trail). I chose the spot where I could

see the farther mountains in the natural

"window".

I knew right away this was a photo of Bryce. Too bad I've never been there when there was snow on the formations and hoodoos. This is a wonderful framing job. Everything is so vibrant. A great non-typical shot of Bryce.

Jeez you folks are good. I just love the color of this and the contrast. The way the rock contrasts the snow and the sky.

I like the internal framing of the distant canyon...the snow adds to the delicate appearance of these formations. The colors are great, very nice work.
