Frond

This particular palm frond was very light green in color compared to

the others. In black and white it appears as though lighting was used

to make the frond on top stand out against the darker fronds behind

it.

Excellent photo!

Taken inside the Opryland Resort which is like a jungle underneath a windowed dome. Beautiful location. The sun had set so light was ambient. The top frond stands out more so because its color was a much lighter green than the other fronds. That is what caught my attention. My eye automatically converted this scene to black and white. Its more of a color illusion than it is a product of strategically placed lighting.
