e_thp 0 Posted April 8, 2004 You say this is straight out of the camera, but don't refute don when he says it's photoshop. this is the 717's IR night mode, right? no PS. and carping aside I like the pic :-) what colour was the sky in the top part of the pic originally? Link to comment
tony georgiadis 0 Posted April 8, 2004 e thp Hi,this is night shot mode in Sony 717... yes but you need a stack of filters to cut the light through....when I said straight out of the camera I meant it was shot on Sunday the day before I uploaded it....But yes after shooting it in infra there's a procedure that has to be done in photosop it's not a photoshop effect.....Out of the camera the picture is green and it even looks a bit out of focus am referring on Sony's ...but as soon as you start editing it, then you get the green foliage white.....and so on the sky was nice with fluffy clouds, and it was sunny. you need enough light for infra ......yes, Now after editing it,you come out with an almost black& white photo of course the difference is that the green foliage is white but the contrast you get from the foliage turning white with the trunk of the tree is amazing....adjusting saturation and Hue you get different moods of colour....since it's shot in RGB.....Then according to your likings you're ready. I hope i was clear enough. Regards Link to comment
