Early Morning Reflection and Fog

The lack of even a whisper of wind let me frame this shot with

shaded bushes. Would it have been more effective if I had used fill

flash?

It seems to me that the flash was'nt necessary here, for the bushes are not interesting by themselves, only as a frame, and with the flash they would have been too much lighted, which would have harm to the landscape. The compostion is simple but perfect, and the colours are nice. Excellent shot.

nice one, like a dream. Well exposed and really smooth, I like the sun playing with the trees, and the fall is such a nice season. The overall blue and the fog give it the extra mile.

Your nature shots John are amazing, I agree with Alexandre - the exposure is like silk and the fog looks great.

This, in my opinion, is the most pleasing landscape in your portolio...the blue and the yellow foliage in contrast does it all..One more thing about the trees in the back,.. the left side is in fall and the right one in summer ? I am just kidding :-)..but I really like this photo because of that difference..

Of the photos that I have posted this made a pretty good transition to the web. Yes Simanta I admit I took this picture on the first day of Autumn and it was still Summer on the opposite side. :)
