Of course, I like vivid colors and hues in photography and the colors in this photo immediately attacked me to it. If you can image this photo in the daytime, I don't think it would be nearly as interesting. As it is, it's great. The composition and use of lighting really make this photo come alive. Very good.

Great shot, I love the colors! I have a similar picture of that same spot taken during the day. I turned it into a painting in photoshop and posted it on this site.

Cindy, you are right. It is exactly the same place. The only difference is in the foliage of the tree in the foreground. Monsieur Francis Toussaint has a very similar picture, also from the same place, posted here in Photo.net

Like your vision and your attempt to make a good picture and therefore a little lesson to improve your work. First of all, try to keep your camera horizontal, that is the basic rule!!. ( could be that the chip in your camera is a little wrong mounted, perhaps? because even the smallest abberation is enough). What I did to your picture is the following. First I downloaded the large version and took it to Photoshop. Than I rotated it counterclockwise 2,3 degrees. After that I 'selected all' and played with all the editingtools. Skew, perspective, distort etc. Last but not least I also took out most of the noise with a special filter, and finaly gave it a unsharp mask. Perhaps a way to help you improve your photo's?

Good luck Roberto,

Hansio

Thank you very much for your comments. To tell you the truth, I didn't even know I could correct perspective with PS. The picture really improved. About the leveling of the camera, the only thing wrong with the camera is the owner ;-). I'll pay more attention next time.

To me distorsions and colors add to the strangeness of the place depicted here. Half cartoon half real.
