Lovely. Very serene. Wonderful pastel colors. Reminds me of 1930-40's panoramic photography that has a light application of Marshall coloring applied to it.

Thank you, David. I spent a couple of months playing with this photo trying to bring out what I saw in my mind when I took the shot.

I walked away from it in February'04 and have only come back to it today just before uploading it. I forgot what it looked like and was shocked by it when I opened it after being away from it for so long. For me, it was almost Thomas Kincaide moment. All I need do is add a nice cottage and a stone brook. :)

Thanks!

Please don't change a thing. This is so wonderful. I know I am gushing a bit, but the softness of this is nearly touchable.

Great job!

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your expression. It is how I know I am on the right path.

Also, I gush a bit myself or break out with some funny, whitty remark (smartass humor) that hopefully depicts the moment in whatever photo I am viewing. I think the humor is best of all.

I look forward to reading you around. Enjoy!

From the 's curve' of the water to the foreground bushes this shot is soothing to the viewer. There is a carefully balanced 'weighting' of elements which is most pleasing. Technically, you managed to squeeze out detail well in highlights and shadows and the colorwork you did 'sweetens' the image. I see 'golden hour' light and color!

Nice art, TC.

Thank you, Charlie. As one of my favorite photo's, I appreciate hearing all comments and opinions. I am still working on this photo to clean up some of my enhancements a bit. I am preparing to have this one printed as a gift so I want it at its best. :)

...good one, tc.

composition is good, and the overall scene is quiet and gentle.

maybe a bit too centered, though.

nice shot.
