Your protrait work is superb, John; this is yet another example.

John Tuesday here in Oz, and survived Monday, here to say hello, and view your latest....the light in this view is magic, true painting with light here John, I see in your other view, your self critical opinion of your own work. A true artist never really feels his work is all it can be, that is what drives us on to do better.....never good enough....know all about it mate !*R*
Tones, pose, expression and composition all make for another one of your great portraits, John
John, check your e-mail. If you didn't get what I sent, please advise. Regards, Howard
Really nice: I love the tones, and her expression is intriguing (in a good way!)...
No verbiage - I love this! There is such sweetness in her expression and the intimacy of the bedrails make this such an endearing composition.
Just one post script - the severity of the cropping to the top, just an inch more would have been so lovely. Also, for uniformity, perhaps a slightly finer crop to the right, however, this critique might be considered a little too harsh.
This is a fine picture.
Monday morning and things start to look up again .......
