Petty of the frame... I think this picture deserves all the space you can give it.

I love both versions of this for different reasons... the B+W really highlighted the changes in tone and lines in the grass... this version is magical in it's own way.

To balance this composition a little better, with its excellent perspective and camera placement, and make it more strict, I may just crop a little off the left empty space, maybe up to the darker tractor track..It is a little too earthy, with all that dramatic sky. Then if we wait a bit, and let the sun shine thru and light up the grass stalks and seeds, that would make it spectacular..Clouds very interesting shapes and matching well the scenery, which is quite dynamic with the bent foreground plants.. Then, colors not important with the shot.

Mr.Thomas I appreciate your comment......Now about cropping that empty earth...I disagree with that...I think it balances the picture it divides it in two earth, and crops....the tractor track is so well placed as it is that cropping it to there I would be left with the seeds dominating most of the bottom part of the picture But then again, that's my opinion. maybe if i was in the same spot again I would have shot it differently depending on How would i feel that moment, I think the way i feel, sometimes is reflected on my photos.....I again appreciate your comment on this photo..and respect your opinion.

Tony: maybe there is some middle ground, like putting the track right in the LH corner.

Funny enough I also sense that this one would benefit from a Mid Format kind of framing; it seems to need hight...

Nothing wrong with it though; just nitpicking... ;)
