A photo I took in the botanical garden in Geneva. There was a post

behind the blue bird I had to remove in PS. What are your thoughts?

I like the pseudo-panoramic nature of the composition - the length of stick in this image really makes the image work for me. Perhaps it is my monitor, but the feathers on the birds are not as sharp as they could be.

Thank you for your comment, Pawel. Yes, you are right, it could be a little sharper. I actually have the impression that the green bird is sharper than the blue one, but I dont think that can be. Thanks again. Regards, Uwe

did you have removed the background? It is not neat...

Your guess is right. The back ground was mainly black but there was a brown post right behind the birds I removed. Thank you for your comment. How did your 'advertising' go?

Try to remove it again. The blue bird has a natural square look (around the eyes around the nozzle). It gives a very unusual aspect to the bird (not real a puppet) which add to the picture but... because one can see the removing of the background it makes one doubts of everything. What is real what is not. Maybe a cleaner removal and a lighter background will do it?

I do the advertising too early. It did work but not that good
