alecee 0 Posted March 23, 2004 See if you can spot the golfer on the green. IMHO one of the best place for a round of golf. Link to comment

davidroossien 0 Posted March 23, 2004 Beautiful landscape. There is some interesting texture in the trees in the middle left. Was there some movement in the trees over there ? In any case I don't think it hurts the photo at all. It looks like you had some foreground compromises--the bottom left corner and 1/3 up on the right. I'm sure it wasn't easy to decide what to do. alecee 0 Posted March 23, 2004 Nothing was manipulated on this image. The green grass may have been mowed in some places which show up as different texture. Perhaps I need a higher resolution for better definition on the pine trees. Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted March 23, 2004 I wasn't suggesting manipulation. I was suggesting there might have been some wind causing movement in the trees. There is a little blur over there on the middle left--it could be due to the small resolution or compression by photo.net. Just curious. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 23, 2004 Hi David, my apology, wrong choice of words, you're probably right it could have been the wind or poor resolution. I have reposted a higher resolution. Link to comment
cristina_fumi 0 Posted March 25, 2004 Alec, you keep showing such nice places and I am just sitting at home!!!! Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 25, 2004 Thanks Kim. Cristina, you still sitting by the bench admiring the clouds? The grass is always greener on the other side, don't you think so? Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 25, 2004 Alec, is it for sale?.........if not at least tell us where it is located.....? Pnina Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 26, 2004 What? The golf club membership or the island? Prina, here in Norfolk Island there are only about 2000 residents. They encourage tourism but try to restrict permanent resident. You can own a piece of land by i.e. inter-marriage with the locals? Interested? Link to comment
