salvatore.mele 1 Posted May 25, 2004 Taken at about 3800m/12500ft on the way to an alpine summit, the tourRonde, at the top of the picture. Italy is on the left, France on theright: the border runs on the ridge. There is a fall of a good1000m/3000ft on the left, some 500m/1500ft on the right.I know the polariser took a bit my hand here... but your opinion arewelcome. Composition? Subject? mountaineer1965 0 Posted September 14, 2004 Again, I think your right that the polarizer is a bit too heavy. I like the picture though and the climber "surveying" the route ahead is a nice touch. Too many climbing pictures have the climbers looking at the camera and they end up feeling more like a portrait than an adventure photo, as this one feels. Well done! Link to comment
