Aiguille du Midi

Nested at 3800m/12000ft the cablecar station of the Aiguille du Midi

(the cables are on the back) gives mixed feelings. Man colonises

everything, and makes access easy to this dangerous terrain of

glaciers and snow, but on the other hand these structures have a charm

of their own...

How do you like the composition? And the (REAL!) colours? And the

contrast with that small black dot on the snow, which is a climber tent?
