roberto_carli 0 Posted March 20, 2004 I should like to be there with that so quiet view and magical light!! Link to comment
mellimage 0 Posted March 21, 2004 Lovely scene, just one really small nitpick. I wish you could have given the tree in the center a little more room on the top. The crop there is too tight, it divides the pictures too much. Go by the John Shaw rule ... don't let subjects touch the edges. Link to comment
shadow-island 0 Posted March 21, 2004 Great travel shot. You just want to stand there and enjoy. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 21, 2004 Wow - this is indeed a goody Alec. I love trees of all kinds. These Araucarias are endangered in their native habitats. We have one growing at home here. The light in this shot is delightful. I wish I had taken this shot. Great composition. Love the horizontal and vertical elements. In my (humble) opinion 7 / 7 for aethsetics 6 / 7 for originality. alecee 0 Posted March 21, 2004 HI Matty. Are you a botanist? I only know the trees as Norfolk Pines. BTW thanks, but did you miss including the ratings you mentioned? Vincent K Tylor. Thanks for the rating, I am a big fan of yours! Aloha. Link to comment

robert_flanery1 0 Posted November 14, 2004 The way you composed this image is very interesting. I like the use of light and the changes in texture from foreground to background lend an almost painterly feel to it. Your images are always a joy to view. I am still trying to work through them!
