A combination of two versions of a photo of rising smoke. The background image is the original grey on black colorized to dark gold and the forground is a drawing from the original, created with Virtual Painter. The two layers were combined in difference mode in Paint Shop 8.

This reminds me of both smoke and fire. It also is evocative of a

flower, hence the title. Please let me know what you think.

 

I am removing some of the lesser images from this folder and am

replacing them with what I hope are better ones. Your input will help

me deceide on the final cut.

Very nice Dave. You've done a great job of capturing that ephemeral quality of smoke interacting with shifting air.
