skip_fockelmann 0 Posted March 19, 2004 Love this shot! Makes one want to lay down in one of those stripes and catch the last bit of sun. Very nice, great color. Link to comment
paul pinkley 0 Posted March 21, 2004 good detail and color especially considering the difficulties between shadows and light Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted April 7, 2004 Are you an early riser? I *have* to get up before sunrise most weekday mornings and as a result I usually spoil my photographic opportunities on the weekends, by sleeping in until after sunrise. I suppose a scene like this could also be captured close to sunset - so I have no excuse... ;-) Very nice work, Walter! This digital rendition doesn't do it justice though. The original slide would be much better. What type of film scanner do you use? Link to comment
whinterberger 0 Posted April 7, 2004 My scanner is an Epson Perfection 3200 Photo. Not a professional one, but excellent. So it isn't the tool but the worker. I'm very much a novice at scanning... perhaps I should read the manual :))) Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted April 8, 2004 Yes Walter, reading the manual always helps, that's for sure, but a lot of quality usually goes missing in the downsizing of the original scan, for photo.net upload. Whilst I understand the 100Kb file size limit, I don't necessarily agree with it... I think it should be a PN subscriber feature that we can upload bigger files with better quality images. Then again, I guess there is always the danger of copyright issues. Images can and have been harvested from this site... Link to comment
svein-frode 0 Posted August 9, 2004 This has got a wonderful country mood to it! Makes me wanna pack my bag and head for a field somewhere... Good use of lines. Maby a little more foreground interest to make this perfect. Link to comment
