Interesting portrait for several reasons: The clown's apparent mood (he seems to be tired and/or bored) is definitely not in character with the "comical" nature of his costume. Also, that would appear to be a six-pointed "Star of David" on his hat. The individual is perhaps a Jewish participant in this St Patrick's day parade?
