Guest Guest Posted March 19, 2004 Top marks for the idea on this one, but a split second earlier might have caught a similar image without the referee immediately behind the foreground boxer. Also your DOF appears to be centered just in front of the foreground boxer. I appreciate how hard something like this is to take perfectly though... particularly with respect to timing and motion of the boxers. Nice effort. BTW: Why the name change? Link to comment
g2imaging 0 Posted March 19, 2004 Thanks for the feedback Andrew... was getting tons of negative ratings from individuals in certain countries who were showing shall I say nicely, bias. You're right about DOF. I had the camera on Servo and was shooting at about 3.5 and 1/90 second, ISO 800, thus the problem. I took a few frames before this one and they were either soft or the woman in front was covering the fighter on the ground. The referees were immediately next to me on the right. It was fun to shoot none the less... I wouldn't mess with either of these women! Link to comment
